Sail, snorkel and picnic on a tropical Island. Board a catamaran for a leisure sail to an uninhabited island, where you can enjoy the clear waters of the Caribbean, collect shells, sunbathe, wade or swim offshore. Complimentary lunch and tropical drinks will be served. Non-swimmers as well as swimmers will take advantage of professional instructions in snorkeling to fully view the diverse ecology of the area. Equipment and transportation included.
Tours
El Yunque Rain Forrest
Discover the exotic vegetation of El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Park System. It features over 240 species of plant and wildlife, waterfalls, streams and hiking trails. With a professional guide you will visit El Portal Visitor Center, La Coca Falls, and Yokahú Tower, an observation point, which stands 1,500 feet above sea level.
City Bacardi Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of the Bacardi Rum Distillery's 127 acres of plants, museums and tropical gardens. Learn the interesting rum process making and relax with a complimentary cocktail at their open air pavilion. Then, discover 500 years of history, culture and heritage in the nearby art galleries, stores and cozy cafes. See historical sites built by Spaniards during colonization, such as San Cristobal Fort, and the legendary Governors Mansion La Fortaleza.
El Yunque Rain Forest and Luquillo Beach
Combine a morning trip to El Yunque with an afternoon of swimming and relaxing on placid Luquillo Beach. The soft sands, shaded by coconut trees and the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean make it a perfect Caribbean retreat. Dressing rooms, lockers, showers and lifeguards are available for your convenience. Bring a beach towel, and picnic provisions, or sample the tasty local specialties such as seafood and Creole fritters from the myriad of roadside kiosks.
Colonial Ponce
The city of Ponce unveils an enchanting portrait of colonial history, art and culture. The city's buildings, such as the 19th century Fire Station and "La Perla" Theater, demonstrate more than 300 years of an elegant tradition. Visit the Museum of Art, Serrallés Castle, and El Vigía Cross.
Down Under Camuy Cave and Observatory
Explore one of the largest systems of caverns in the Western Hemisphere. Embark on an underground adventure at the Camuy River Cave Park. Located in the northern part of the island, the caverns were formed by the flow of the Camuy River over one million years ago. The excursion winds through enormous stalactites and stalagmites.
