St. John Kayak, Hike and Snorkel Caneel Bay

As you paddle through the shallow, crystal clear waters look below for views of colorful coral reefs and the sea grass bed areas frequented by sea turtles. Cool off with a snorkel along a fringing coral reef in shallow waters of the Virgin Islands National Park. Kayak along the fabulous turquoise waters and sandy beaches of Caneel Bay. This excursion is provided by Virgin Island Ecotours. Hike along picturesque wooded forest trails with breathtaking views high above rocky outcrops. As you hike, numerous examples of rare and beautiful indigenous trees and plants can be found along the trail. As you look towards the Durloe Cays, keep a sharp eye out for the dolphins that are often seen frolicking in the waves. Your guide can help identify and teach you about the many different types of corals, colorful reef fish, and marine life that live in this protected area.
