The hotel's three outdoor pools range from a large rectangular pool with strategically set umbrellas for shady soaking and a tropical pool with a waterfall and rock formations. A few steps away, a gold-sand beach is a popular spot for windsurfing, parasailing, and excursions to the Great Barrier Reef.The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Classic Vacations has been advised by Angsana Resort and Spa that they have commenced the soft refurbishment of their suites. Angsana expects to be completed with the refurbishments by June 15, 2013. The soft refurbishment of all suites will include; painting of all suites (inside only) and replacement of soft furnishing fabrics, new white lamp shades, new Nespresso coffee machines, new Vin Card door locks, new mattress toppers, new pillows and some new artwork on the walls. The painters have started on the painting in one section of the Resort as this is one of the most time consuming tasks. There is no disruption to in-house guests as there is no noise involved in the soft refurbishment. In the next few months, impacted suites will be taken 'out of service' one section at the time and brought back once they are completed.
An added feature included with these refurbishments will be the introduction of a ‘personalized minibar’. Rather than having a fully stocked minibar in the suite, guests can pre-order their minibar prior to arrival, which will then be in their suite when they arrive. If guests are unable to pre-order they are welcome to order on arrival or anytime during their stay.
