- Located 300 yards from the resort, Marina Village includes international brand-name shops, Bahamian arts/crafts vendors, five restaurants (including Carmines of New York and Johnny Rockets), as well as Jamba Juice and the Caribbean's first Starbucks.
- Designed around the theme of the mythical Lost Continent of Atlantis, this resort expanded from a casino destination into a family destination by including vast waterpark and marine-life attractions. Coral Towers lies in the middle of the resort between the other two towers--Beach and Royal--and offers middle-price accommodations.
- All Atlantis facilities are accessible from all three towers. Atlantis Coral Towers contain Atlantis Kids Camp, a library, and is nearest Marina Village. Adjacent are Lazy River (tube) Ride, River Pool, Poseidon's Kids Pool, Lagoon Pool, and Goombay Water Slide & Baths, a slide and series of spa tubs cut into an artificial rock. Also adjacent are the marine-life exhibits, Hibiscus Lagoon, Seagrapes Lagoon and viewing tunnel, Stingray Lagoon, Water's Edge Lagoon, Predator Lagoon, Ruins Lagoon, and The Dig, an underground web of mythological Atlantis “ruins.”

Fourteen exhibit lagoons are on site (lighted at night) covering 140 acres with 50,000 fish and sea creatures (200 species). Dolphin Cay contains nearly seven million gallons of sea water within three lagoons surrounded by a white-sand beach.

Atlantis Paradise Island offers more than 20 swimming areas including family pools, children's pools, a lazy river for tube rides, and a saltwater lagoon for water sports. Five waterslides built into a six-story Mayan Temple include The Leap of Faith, a 60-foot, nearly vertical plunge through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon; a 48-foot corkscrew slide transporting tube riders through the Temple's dark core; and shorter, gentler children's slides connecting cascading pools.
Aquaventure, a 63-acre waterscape, contains more than 20 million gallons of water and features water slides, a mile-long river ride with rapids and wave surges, and special effects. Guests in inner tubes are propelled along by water escalators, waves, and water surges. Unlike traditional water slides that require the participant to leave the water and climb back to the start, Aquaventure guests never have to leave the water as they are propelled back up the slide tower via water conveyors.
The on-site sports center features six lighted clay and hard-surface tennis courts (surcharges), a 27-yard lap pool, and a fitness facility (surcharges) with free weights, cardio and weight machines, steam rooms, and a workout studio for aerobics, spinning, kickboxing, yoga, and Pilates (surcharges).
The Dolphin Cay Atlantis, a 14-acre dolphin habitat, is one of the largest of its kind in the world. Guests can share in the dolphins' playful shallow water antics or experience their speed and agility first-hand in the deeper waters (surcharges).
The private Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole championship Ocean Club Golf Course is located 1.5 miles from the resort at the east end of Paradise Island (surcharges). Complimentary shuttle service to the course is available.
