Appointed with indigenous wood and stone finishes, all accommodations feature furnished balconies or patios with views of the tropical forest, bay, or ocean. Marble bathrooms include soaking tubs, separate glass-enclosed showers, and double vanities. Amenities include desks with multi-line phones, cable TVs with DVD players, high-speed Internet access, and in-room safes.
Surrounded by tropical forest, this resort overlooks the Pacific Ocean at the tip of the Papagayo Peninsula. The resort features a main freshwater pool, two smaller pools, a children's pool, and two beaches. The spa specializes in therapies that incorporate natural ingredients from the area including mineral-rich rain forest mud and organic Costa Rican cocoa (surcharge).Guests can work out at the expansive fitness center, which features cardio machines, free weights, personal trainers, fitness classes, steam rooms, and hot and cold plunge pools. Di MareFine-dining restaurant serving gourmet Italian cuisine. Ocean-view restaurant with a fully screened outdoor terrace. Open for dinner. Menu changes nightly. Dress code: collared shirts, trousers, and dress sandals or closed-toe shoes for men; dresses, skirts, or dress trousers for women.
PapagayoCasual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Located adjacent to the pool with indoor or outdoor seating on the terrace. Specialties include seafood dishes highlighting fresh local ingredients.
Congo'sPoolside bar and grill serving American cuisine including sandwiches, salads, grilled fish, and vegetarian dishes. Serves lunch, cocktails, and light fare throughout the day. Open on select evenings for themed dinners.
CaracolRestaurant located at the golf club, about a 10-minute drive from the resort's lobby. Serves casual cuisine for lunch including sandwiches, paninis, burgers, and salads. In the evenings, the restaurant serves steakhouse-style dishes including steaks and grilled fish. Indoor and outdoor terrace seating available. Dress code for dinner: collared shirts, trousers or dress shorts, and closed-toed shoes or dress sandals for men; dresses, skirts, dress shorts, or evening trousers for women.
Tico'sStylish open-air bar and lounge located off the main lobby. Fresh sushi available in the evenings and a bar menu is available throughout the day and evening.
The Four Seasons Golf Club Costa Rica features an 18-hole Arnold Palmer signature course, a pro shop, a driving range, and a putting green (surcharge). The resort features two beaches and offers complimentary water sports including snorkeling, windsurfing, boogie boarding, and kayaking. Deep-sea fishing excursions and scuba diving trips are also available (surcharge). Other on-site activities include tennis, volleyball, hiking, dance classes, and fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, and spinning.The concierge can arrange tours and excursions including boat rides to Palo Verde National Park, Witch's Rock canopy tours, and day-trips to Nicaragua (surcharge). Memo to the guests of the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica
Classic Vacations has been advised for all Costa Rican Hotels that Costa Rica imposes a Dry Law, prohibition from midnight on the Wednesday of Holy Week until midnight on the Friday. Holy week for 2014 is April 17, 2014 – April 18, 2014. During this period no alcohol can be legally sold restaurants can only serve soft drinks with meals.
