Catering for our guests who have business needs and for those who are simply here to relax, The Rubens at The Palace has two different approaches to its Double Rooms. Whilst all rooms have double sized beds and are all en-suite, the Business Ready Rooms have larger desk space, luxury office chairs and thoughtful business extras. Our Leisure Rooms focus on storage space and relaxing scaling areas where guests can kick their shoes off and relax.

Stylish and chic, the King rooms are available with additional business desk space or for leisure guests, extra room for storage. In several different styles, the king rooms offer pure luxury for all of our guests.

Executive King rooms are the perfect combination of space and comfort. Each room features a king bed, sitting area with sofa and spacious working desk with swivel chare, complimentary business stationary and equipment. The sofa can be converted into an additional bed for one adult or two children, making this an excellent category for families.

In a privately secure wing of their own, eight themed rooms in honor of past British Monarchs allow our guests to feel like royalty. Choose from Queen Elizabeth I or II, Henry VIII, and more. All rooms offer the cultural heritage of their reigns and are reflected in the design and furnishings which cleverly transport you to their era. All Royal rooms offer flat screen TV's not only in the room but also in the luxurious marble bathrooms.

Traditionally decorated and individually appointed with sumptuous fabrics and elegant furnishing, each suite provides the ultimate in luxury, style and comfort. Junior Suites are studio style with one large king bedded room that has a spacious seating area, entertainment unit and a luxurious marble bathroom with an assortment of fine toiletries.

Three individually appointed suites, two of which are split level, and all are lavishly decorated in a grand style following a theme including The African Queen Suite, Henry VII, and The Queen Suite. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology, are business ready, and feature a well stocked mini-bar.

The hotel offers one Master Suite. The Monarch. This suite has a separate lounge, en suite bathroom in the bedroom, and a guest toilet off the lounge. This is the perfect room for special occasions featuring a four-poster bed and Jacuzzi tub. The lounge area is furnished in custom made fabrics, antique furniture, paintings and a selection of books. Private in-room dining is easily arranged making use of the dining table which comfortably seats up to four guests.
