What to Expect:
- Crossing the causeway from the main island of Viti Levu, guests find themselves enveloped in a self-contained resort with 296 guestrooms and suites; a large, lagoon-style pool, and several restaurants and bars. A diverse array of activities and supervised children's program keep active guests of all ages entertained while a plush spa and white-sand beach provide serene retreats for more leisurely pursuits.
- The resort is built around a 1,080-square-meter lagoon pool, complete with wading areas, man-made islands, and a two-story waterslide. A local adventure outfitter offers a dazzling array of activities ranging from snorkeling and scuba excursions to helicopter tours and skydiving. Younger guests enjoy everything from beach games to cultural experiences in a supervised children's program that runs from early morning until the evening hours. Five restaurants and bars offer a delightful array of dining styles and menus that mix local flavors with classic French flair.The resort is also home to Mandara Spa, a luxurious complex with nine private treatment bures (bungalows), each with its own jetted tub and open-air, outdoor shower. The heart of this resort is a huge (1,080 square meters) lagoon-style pool that stretches the length of the property. At one end, a shallow bottom provides a safe haven for younger children and those who simply want to cool off. At the other, deeper waters await those who want to swim, take an introductory scuba course, or brush up on their PADI skills. A spa tub, two-story waterslide, and man-made islands complement the something-for-everyone appeal. A few steps away, a half-kilometer of private, white-sand beach provides a scenic spot for swimming, sunbathing, and strolling.The resort also offers a wealth of aquatic activities and excursions through a partnership with Adrenalin Fiji, a local outfitter. Among the offerings: scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, sea kayaking, jet skiing, and boat trips to neighboring islands.
