Greetings from the Hotel General Manager

My warmest aloha and greetings from Lana'i. Just a few miles west of Maui, Lanai was once Hawaii’s largest pineapple plantation. Today this small, private island and its main town, Lanai City, have maintained the spirit of old Hawaii, attracting visitors from all over the world to a tranquil tropical destination that offers crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches and world-class golf. I hope to welcome you soon!

Insider Tip
  • The Four Seasons Resorts Lanai Airport Lounge, located in the commuter terminal at Honolulu International Airport, provides an elegant and relaxing space to begin a visit to Lanai. While awaiting your flight, enjoy comfortable seating, complimentary amenities including a selection of food and beverages, iPads, Wi-Fi access, charging stations, newspapers, magazines and hi-def televisions along with amenities for children. A Four Seasons Lounge Concierge can assist with hotel check-in, as well as reservations for dining and Resort activities.
Hotel Overview
  • Secluded paradise
Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Hulopoe Bay, a marine sanctuary that’s a playground to spinner dolphins and humpback whales.
  • Spacious guestrooms
The 201 spacious guestrooms and suites boast private views of the ocean or the hotel's botanical gardens featuring a rich variety of tree, shrub, and plant species.
  • Outdoor adventures
Experience diverse activities - championship golf, sporting clays, horseback riding, hiking, exploring and other off-road adventures. In addition, enjoy many top-rated ocean sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving or beachcombing
What to Expect:
  • Lana'i was once one of the world’s largest pineapple plantations. Today, with just over 3,000 residents, Lana'i remains the Hawaii of yesterday: unspoiled, unhurried, and unequaled. No stoplights, traffic or fast-food restaurants can be found here. Instead, you will find serenity, tradition and history, at one with excitement, adventure and discovery. Bordering a marine preserve perched atop a rugged red-lava cliff above a white-sand beach, our ocean-side luxury resort in Lanai, Hawaii, will make you swoon – and the spectacular golf course with three cliff-side fairways will take your breath away.
Amenity Highlights:
  • High above the crashing surf of Hulopoe Bay, Manele Golf Course is the premier 18-hole layout in Lanai, Hawaii, with a reputation for excellence in design and playability. Built on lava outcroppings, the course features three holes on cliffs, which use the Pacific Ocean as a water hazard. The five-tee concept challenges the best golfers – tee shots over natural gorges and ravines must be precise.
