  • Spread out over 13 acres, this condominium resort allows lots of lawn space for semi-private relaxation and lounge-chair sunning. Each half of the resort precisely mirrors the other. Each half contains a large pool surrounded by a sundeck with large spa tub. Two-of-everything extends to the 18-hole putting greens, the shuffleboard courts, the picnic areas with gas-fired barbecue grills, and the beachfront cabanas equipped with restrooms, soft-drink machines, and saunas. Only the lighted tennis courts, three in number, disrupt this symmetry.

    Coloring books with crayons are offered to all children 12 years and under; presented upon check-in. All amenities subject to change without prior notice.

    Self parking:
    Free for one car per room, $5 per day each additional car. In/out privileges.
    Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without prior notification.

    Camp Kaanapali is offered to children ages 5 - 12. Camp activities include a variety of Hawaiian cultural and outdoor-based activities such as hula dancing, ukulele lessons, beach exploration, lei making, sand art, kite making/flying, swimming, scavenger hunts, games, arts, and crafts. Both day and evening sessions are available. One-time registration fee of $10 per child includes a t-shirt. Daily rate of $25 per child includes meals. Registration must be made 24 hours in advance upon arrival at the resort. Registration is held daily at 8 AM at the Camp Kaanapali Center in room 135. Camp Kaanapali hours are Monday - Friday (with the exception of major holidays), 8 AM - 2 PM. Friday evening sessions are 5 PM - 9 PM and include dinner. Space is limited to 16 participants per session. Children who are ill may not attend.
    Note: Camp Kaanapali is located at the ASTON Kaanapali Shores and is available to registered guests of all ASTON ResortQuest properties on Maui.

  • The Beach Club Restaurant
    Located next door in the Aston at Papakea Resort's sister property, Aston Kaanapali Shores, this breezy, open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner under whirring ceiling fans. A bar prepares tropical drinks, and a band plays five nights a week. The fare consists of full breakfasts, burger/salad/sandwich lunches, and dinners of local seafood, steaks, pastas, and prime rib.
Recreation

  • Golf alone makes West Maui famous. Three award-winning championship courses nestle between the verdant West Maui Mountains and the blue Pacific in Kapalua, 5 miles north of Aston at Papakea Resort. Two other world-class courses are 2 miles south in Kaanapali. In addition, the Kapalua Golf Academy, Hawaii's premier state-of-the-art teaching facility, is located nearby.

    Three lighted tennis courts, two 18-hole putting greens, and two shuffleboard courts provide recreational opportunities within the resort. Across the street there's a shop that rents boogie boards, surfboards, and snorkel sets. Scuba-diving lessons and excursions as well as kayaking/snorkeling tours can be booked at the resort's tour-and-activity desk.

    There are numerous recreational opportunities in West Maui, such as deep-sea fishing, skydiving, parasailing, helicopter/airplane sightseeing, nature/wildlife tours, and submarine excursions, in addition to the activities listed below.
