What to Expect:
  • An international clientele wishing to be insulated from the Waikiki whirlwind while enjoying the beach, shopping forays, and sightseeing trips makes this condominium hotel a home-away-from-home. Set back from the street, the tower offers immediate peace and quiet as guests drive up and under the shaded entrance or approach from the street on a flagstone walk bordered by lava-rock walls and shaded by an arbor dripping with blossoms. Seating under the arbor offers relief for soles and souls.

  • Despite the seclusion, Waikiki Beach and the multi-hued Pacific can't be missed - unit-wide balconies offer views of both. And crossing the street is all that's necessary to arrive at the beach, along the back of which runs a lovely, grass-and-palm-tree park, with shaded benches for viewing the surfing action. Breakwaters offshore ensure of lagoon-calm swimming conditions. (Locals call the beach at this point in the sandy sweep toward Diamond Head "Kuhio Beach." But to visitors it's all Waikiki Beach, all light-colored, and all offering access to the same warm Pacific waters.

Memo to the guests of Aston Waikiki Beach Tower
Classic Vacations has been advised by Aston Waikiki Beach Tower that they will begin an exterior enhancement project that includes concrete restoration, exterior painting and the replacement of all vestibule doors on floors 5-40. The garage exterior enhancement project is scheduled to begin on April 22, 2013 with a completion date of September 6, 2013 (weather and unforeseen circumstances may prolong the project). The exterior tower enhancement project is scheduled to begin on September 9, 2013 with a completion date of November 29, 2013 (weather and unforeseen circumstances may prolong the project). The Vestibule Door Installation Project includes the replacement of all vestibule doors on floors 5-40. This Vestibule Door Installation Project is scheduled to begin on May 13, 2013 with a completion date of May 12, 2014. All Work will be done on Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with louder work scheduled between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The property anticipates that the noise of the concrete repair will travel throughout the building. All other work will create minimal noise and inconvenience. There will be a brief period that the pool will be closed during certain portions of the exterior tower enhancement project with no dates specified yet. There will be no lanai access for the stack of units affected during the exterior tower enhancement project. Notices and construction schedules will be posted throughout the property., All guests staying through these periods will receive complimentary round-trip trolley tickets to the Ala Moana Center during the duration of these projects – limited to the number of guests in the suite.
Memo to the guests of the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower

Classic Vacations has been advised that the Condominium Association at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower has scheduled an Exterior Enhancement Project . The Exterior Enhancement Project includes concrete restoration and exterior painting. Concrete restoration and painting of the garage with an anticipated completion date on March 31st, 2014, subject to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Concrete restoration and painting of the Tower also continues with work occurring on the “04” series column. Work on the ocean side of the Tower with an anticipated completion date of June 30th, 2014, subject to weather and unforeseen circumstances. The pool will remain closed until work on the “ocean-side of the building is complete and this is for the safety of the owners and guests. Concrete restoration and painting will be isolated by column and those units in the column being worked on will not have access to the lanai (balcony).

Work on the Tower will be temporarily stopped from December 24, 2013 – January 5, 2014 and resume on Monday, January 6, 2014. During this time period, guests will have access to their lanais. Work will continue in the garage and paddle tennis court areas during this time period. Work will be done on Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with louder work scheduled between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Repair work will also be done on the Ewa (west) side of the building simultaneously. Repair noise will travel throughout the building. The 4th Floor Recreation deck will be closed while exterior repair is being done. The restrooms and saunas will remain open. Notices and construction schedules will be posted throughout the property. All guests staying through these periods will receive complimentary round-trip trolley tickets to the Ala Moana Center during the duration of these projects – limited to the number of guests in the suite.
