Quinta Las Acacias
- Across the street from the hotel is the Florencio Antillon Park and the La Olla Dam, which was built in the mid-1700s to provide water to the growing colonial town. The dam and surrounding park are popular for morning walks or afternoon outings, including boating on the lake. With informal restaurants and parks, the area is popular with local families, wandering musicians, and street vendors.
- The Quinta Las Acacias occupies a French-style antique home in one of Guanajuato's oldest neighborhoods. Built in the 19th century, the house now has nine guestrooms, with a mix of European sophistication and Mexican charm. Guests use the hotel as a base for exploring the town's museums and historic sites, then return for evening cocktails. No children under 12 are admitted.
- The hotel has an antique residential feel and features furnishings, wall coverings, and window treatments reminiscent of 19th-century France. Rooms outside the main building are each decorated in the theme of a different Mexican state. In the main area, a computer with Internet access is available for guest use (fee), and the hotel has a small library, with chess set and other table games. A splash pool is set on a terrace in the hotel gardens.
