    Panoramic Rooms are located at the secluded end of the resort and are the largest rooms in two buildings. The Panoramic Rooms are spacious with a large private balcony, making them among the top choice of honeymooners.   • Bungalow Overwater Motu -

    The Bungalow Overwater Motu, modeled after traditional Polynesian houses called fare, are perhaps the most romantic and certainly the most intimate of accommodations offered. They are roofed in traditional pandanus leaves and situated on stilts over the lagoon itself. They all have sundecks and platforms from where clients can step off directly into the lagoon waters for swimming or snorkeling or to watch the sunset. The Motu is situated directly on the lagoon, in front of the Lagoonarium, the main pool and the central resort complex. Additional in-room amenities include: air conditioning, cable television, high-speed internet access, mini-bar, safety deposit box, coffee maker with coffee and tea and hair dryer and amenities in the bathroom.

  • Bungalow Overwater Lagoon -

    This outdoor amphitheatre-shaped restaurant has three levels with lagoon views. Tahitian dance shows are performed in the evenings, at the water's edge. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Le Lotus Restaurant
    This over-water restaurant offers lunch, dinner à la carte, and drinks at a swim-up bar.
  • Tiki Bar
    The main Tiki Bar, located next to the Tiare Restaurant, is open from 10:00 am until midnight. The Lobby Bar serves drinks and light snacks all night and is great for guests arriving early or departing late. Le Lotus swim-up bar, in the sand-bottomed pool, serves exotic drinks from 10 am to 6 pm.
Recreation
  • The hotel offers equipment-rental for various water/beach activities. Boating options include pedal boats, motorized canoes, reef pontoons, coral viewing by glass-bottom boat, dolphin cruises via catamaran, sunset cruises, lunch and snorkeling excursions, and yacht charters for deep sea fishing. Land activities include badminton, ping pong, and tennis (there are two lighted courts). Basket weaving, pareu demonstration and painting, and Tahitian quilt sewing classes are also offered. An 18-hole championship golf course is approximately (30 minutes) from the hotel.

    Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm is a 3200-square-foot facility with a fitness room, tea lounge, rain shower, steam bath and plunge pool. Guests can enjoy a free snorkeling experience among thousands of reef fish in the Lagoonarium. The public market, Le Marché, is a short ride downtown on Le Truck.

Memo to the guests of the InterContinental Resort Tahiti
Classic Vacations has been advised by InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa that they will begin rebuilding their Spa's Motu overwater bungalows. The existing 15 Motu overwater bungalows will be replaced by 8 brand new units. Construction will start in January 2014 and will last 14 months during which their high quality standards will be totally respected. Besides the Motu Overwater bungalows, all room categories and services in the hotel will be under a completely normal operation.
Memo to the guests of the InterContinental Resort Tahiti
Classic Vacations has been advised by InterContinental Tahiti Resort and Spa that they will be renovating Overwater Motu Bungalows beginning April 14th, 2014 and will take approximately 16 months to complete. The existing motu overwater bungalows will be replaced by new generation larger units together with some landscaping improvements. The motu istlet will be fenced and secured and this will not directly affect the resort operations, however, works will be visible and clients advised.
