Thala Beach Lodge

This lodge is situated on the Pacific coast of northern Queensland, between Port Douglas and Cairns. Its guest bungalows are nestled among the treetops, offering wide vistas of the beaches, water, and forests below. Amenities include a fine dining restaurant, cocktail lounge, art gallery, boutique, and two free form pools. A circular, open-sided guest reading room was designed to be an observation deck and is perched among the tree canopy.
