This Bahama resort offers 21 One-Bedroom units, 4 Two-Bedroom cottages and 2 individually designed Estate Homes, La Mer Azure and Banyan Tree. Rooms have private terraces furnished with weathered-teak dining sets, cushioned lounge chairs, and umbrellas. Limestone-tile floors, white-canvas overstuffed chairs, and muted-tone, multi-colored bedspreads accent the monochromatic interior. Bathrooms feature decorative tiles.

This two-story, three-bedroom villa has a jaw-dropping view of the ocean to the south and an amazing view of the bay to the west. The house has the master bedroom on the ground floor and two guest bedrooms on the second story. Inspired by one of David Flint Wood’s works, the house seeks to emulate the Empire Loyalist wooden architecture of the historic part of Dunmore town peppered with all the modern amenities. A private old-stone stairway leads guests toward the beach. Ample balconies on each floor let in the brilliant sunshine, while state-of-the-art cooling systems and shades keep the interiors temperature controlled. Breezy evenings call for cocktails on the terrace completing the island vibe. A House Manager is always available to ensure that everything is taken care of according to guests' expectations. Designed by award-winning García Stromberg architectural firm, this estate sits on 23,000 square feet of land and consists of a three-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom main house with panoramic views of the beach and the bay, a beautifully landscaped private outdoor courtyard with an open-air sitting area with fire pit and a private pool. It has a 723-square-foot, one-bedroom, one bathroom guest cottage as well. The interior design was created by Barbara Hulanicki, the artist behind the renowned "tropical luxe" lifestyle that raised island living to a higher plane. The Pink Sands Hotel's main building serves as the resort's social hub. The decor includes richly textured, multi-colored East Indian fabrics, Balinese furniture, Moroccan light fixtures, and Balinese-style straw-paddle ceiling fans, as well as artifacts from Morocco and Asia. A lily pond borders one side of the building, and another pond is in the lobby. The hotel's library offers shelves of books and movies, comfortable seating, and a big-screen television with DVD player.
Arrival transportation to the resort from North Eleuthera airport is complimentary. Guests will be escorted by a land taxi to the North Eleuthera dock, and then a water taxi to Harbour Island, followed by a land taxi to Pink Sands. The total transfer time is 20 minutes. One-way transfer costs $15 per person.
Alternatively, a high speed fast ferry (approx. 2 hours) services Harbour Island daily from Nassau, departing Nassau at 8:00 AM and returning at 3:50 PM.
