  • The Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa offers 94 guestrooms and suites in one- and two-story pink-and-white cottages scattered over a peninsula on Bermuda's west side. Some cottages are available only as complete units. One cottage dates from the late 17th century. Others date from the early 1800s when they housed workers for the British Royal Naval Dockyard about three miles north. These still bear the names of their last residents. Some cottages began being used for guests in the 1920s, and the resort grew by buying other cottages over the decades. Now, all buildings on the peninsula are part of the resort. All rooms, suites, and cottages are air-conditioned and also include ceiling fans as a cooling alternative. Ground-floor patios or second-floor balconies come furnished with lounge chairs and dining sets.
