Originally built as a castle in the 12th century, this hotel is set in a 400-hectare estate of vineyards and olive groves, 20 kilometres south of Florence. The 2006 renovation has preserved the castle's original frescoes, family crests, and vaulted ceilings. Guests can dine on innovative Tuscan cuisine in an on-site restaurant, or sip grappas and other beverages in the bar.
