Traveler Reviews

Tour Operator w/o our knowledge or consent didn't provide one full day trip as purchased. Instead, we were on a bus for a half-day trip before we were consulted. Once in Toledo, as part of the walking tour, the normally scheduled attractions (the Alcazar and the Sta. Maria la Blanca Synagogue) were cancelled, although we walked past them and they were open for free admission. Instead, we visited the El Greco Museum and the El Transito Synagogue, also with free admission to all. The Tour operator claimed to have upgraded our trip with this change which was inferior in quality and shorter in duration than the one normally offered. In essence, Tour Operator gave us a half-day tour instead of the full-day trip we purchased and refused to give us the 50% refund we requested.

Our guide Javier did a great job of giving us a tour of a Toledo. Great English and Spanish descriptions. Pick up was right on time. We got to the location a bit early and got concerned that no one else was there. Might be good to have a photo of the location for folks to feel confident they are in the right place. Having never been to Toledo we enjoyed the bus ride out and Javier’s excellent description of the plan for the day. We ended up upgrading our tour to spending the entire day with our guide vs just an hour. Only thing I’d suggest is giving folks a few minutes of a break earlier than 2:15. It had been a long bus ride and a lot of great tours and we needed a break. Javier has a great understanding of Toledo and was enthusiastic about the content. He answered folks questions and was patient with a guest who was a bit over the top. Overall highly recommend to get a great flavor of Toledo. They don’t include the Alacazar because it’s not the original, but I spent 3 hours o

Totalmente recomendable la excursión para grupos con Fun and Tickets, te enseñan Toledo de otra forma diferente y tienen a los niños totalmente enganchados.

The bus was nice for traveling and our walking guide was very nice! However, our trip was cut 2 hours short. Originally it was supposed to be an 8hr trip... but it ended up being only 6hrs. It really made the whole experience very rushed and kinda hard to enjoy. I was going to confront the tour management about that... but they had our names on file and we were on the right tour. So, I just didn't say anything... which was maybe my fault. The Castle alone would easily take 2 hours to do on its own... so needless to say we really didn't get to see that. We didn't even have time to eat lunch because we only had 3-4 hours. By the time you walk to and from the bus... it's really more like 3 hours. So, I would recommend staying the night if you want time to actually enjoy Toledo. Toledo is a very cool medieval city and I do recommend seeing it! But you need more than 3 hours for sure.
