10 miles from the hotel zone sits this Aztec inspired Property, directly across the street from Aqua World. If your guests are golf enthusiasts, then the Small golf course located across the street for their pleasure. The lobby is full of floral and vegetation that compliments the Pyramid designed property. This hotel is very busy and host a lot of young travelers, the amount of young people at the hotel helps to create a very lively atmosphere.

If your clients are used to luxury travel then "ONLY SELL RED LEVEL"! The Red Level at the Gran Melia is where you would place them during their stay. This category is considered the Royal Service of the hotel and is a completely separate part of the Hotel. The Red Level also has complimentary Wi-Fi and its own check in desk and concierge. If your clients ever get to experience the Red Level then I doubt they would ever stay anywhere else at the hotel.

The red level guest also receive VIP service at the pool with they have their very own private pool area.

One thing I could not help notice is that, for the amount of business the hotel did, the front desk was a little busy and could have used a lot more assistance. The overall feel of this resort was kind of like a Vegas or Large Casino from the main lobby. There is a Very mixed clientele ranging from Families to couples and small groups of friends. 3 very nice restaurants to cater to all types of appetites, and a swim up bar to accommodate the adult clientele. If you have a group then you can offer the Gran Melia is a great option, with the 2nd largest Ball room in Cancun, your group will have more than enough room here.

I recommend this hotel to Families that are looking for a place where they can all go and hang out together while on vacation.
