Dreams Los Cabos
September 15, 2011
Our home base for our fam trip (December 2010), this 4-star all-inclusive resort was comfortable and accommodating, with good solid 4-star service provided by friendly staff.
Our small group enjoyed hanging out by the smaller and quieter of two pools. Lounge chairs surrounded both pools and additional rows of lounge chairs faced the beautiful (but unswimmable) ocean.
Rooms were spacious suites with balconies. Bedding was adequate – I found the original pillows uncomfortable, but there is a pillow menu with memory foam or goose down pillows (based on availability, and both were available to me). My minibar was refreshed daily, and 24-hour room service was available.
Amenities include full-service spa and a large fitness room. An onsite lounge bar offered dancing and karaoke. Several restaurants, including a fine-dining Italian restaurant, dot the property. This resort appeals to families and groups, including wedding parties. It’s possible to walk along the beach for long distances in either direction; head north, and you reach the swimmable cove at the Hilton Los Cabos.
