This cute, casual eatery sits on a floating pier overlooking the Victoria waterfront where floatplanes dock. The restaurant fills up fast on weekends. Our breakfast selections ranged from apple crepes, to breakfast wraps, to traditional and crab-cake versions of Eggs Benedict. After breakfast, we walked back to the Fairmont Empress collect our luggage and transfer to the Victoria Clipper terminal. The Clipper terminal is a good 10-minute walk from the Empress; I’d recommend a taxi if clients travel with a lot of luggage, have difficulty walking, or have any doubt about their ability to find the correct terminal. Recommend the “Flying Otter Grill” as a charming place to eat and enjoy the waterfront ambiance.
