In The Heart of The Famous Golden Triangle
September 30, 2011
The Radisson Champs Elysees is a boutique hotel in a “prime” location of Paris. I was skeptical of the description until I reached the hotel. In fact, if you step out of the front door of the hotel and look right, the Arch de Triomphe is just right down the street! The hotel is in the heart of the famous Golden Triangle of Paris. The Champs Elysees is steps away. The hotel has an elegant, white hausmanian façade for which Paris is so famous.
The hotel has 46 rooms and one suite. The rooms either have a view of the Arc de Triomphe or the inner terrace. I would describe the décor as contemporary style, but with an upscale flair. The suite is on the 7th floor and has a wide and magnificent terrace with a view of the Arc de Triomphe and the roofs of Paris. The rooms feature soft lighting, ash furniture, hardwood floors and a gentle color scheme of honey and tobacco tones. All rooms have flat panel LCD television, climate control, air conditioning, in room safe, mini bar, and 24 hour room service. There is FREE Wi-Fi Broadband throughout the hotel.
The hotel restaurant, La Place, serves dishes made with only the best ingredients to enhance the flavor and delicacy of your meal. La Place is very proud of the fact that it has been given a high rating on the Paris gourmet guide. The restaurant opens onto a wide terrace, which appears to be a quiet, peaceful and tranquil area. Elle Magazine has voted this terrace one of the five best terraces in Paris. The entire restaurant menu is also available for room service guests. The hotel offers a cozy bar and lounge area where guests can relax near the library or the fireplace with their favorite beverage.
Service is very important at this hotel. With 46 rooms, the hotel has 44 members of staff interacting with guests. There is a dedicated 24 hour concierge. The hotel prides itself with its “one touch service” concept. One employee will handle all requests for the same client, so that there is familiar personal contact for the guest.
