St. Regis Bora Bora, my partner (now husband) and I fell in deep love in the shallow lagoon waters of this stunning hotel and property. Leaving our Overwater One Bedroom Villa, with a standard size of 1550 square feet, only a few times to: dine at Jean-Georges Lagoon, visit the main (small) town of Vaitape, and take an excursion with the sharks and rays. Why didn’t we leave? That’s easy, a BOSE stereo system with speakers in every corner, bedroom with views of the lagoon from your palatial King bed, separate living room, outdoor deck with private gazebo, a butler for every room, and 4 times the size of my Manhattan apartment, I felt like a kid in a candy store.
