The Intercontinental Thalasso Resort & Spa is a luxury eco friendly spa resort in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. Upon arrival guests will feel the inviting atmosphere of the resort. There are two restaurants for the clients to enjoy; The Le Reef restaurant is the fine gourmet restaurant located terrace overlooking the lagoon but also has an air conditioned dining room as well for guest enjoyment. The Le Sands Bar & Restaurant is on a private sand beach and is more island casual style. The common areas are contemporary in design and features Le Bubbles Bar which has spectacular views of Mt. Otemanu. The Overwater villas all are the same in design and amenities, the differences of the rooms are in the location of the villas and the view that they have. The clients that would enjoy this property would be honeymooners or families as the rooms are big enough to fit 4 comfortably. Some might not like how contemporary the common areas are but others might like this resort for that reason. For the most privacy in the overwaters the end of pontoon villa would be my recommendation.

The first time I saw the overwaters at this hotel I was awe struck by the view from the bathtub. From it you have the most incredible view of the main island of Bora Bora and from some of the overwaters even the famed mountain Otemanu. Yes from the bathtub!
