I loved how this property reflected its desert setting, from the raked sand and cacti throughout the grounds, to the casitas with their custom-built furniture, including adobe-formed loveseats with foam cushions and mosaic tile headboards built into the walls. The way each element reflected its heritage reminded me of a Frank Lloyd Wright-style philosophy adapted to Mexico. Las Ventanas has the same spirit of dwelling in harmony with nature. Absolutely lovely, and my personal favorite of all the 5-stars I personally toured.

CAUTION: Bi-level accommodations feature narrow, spiral metal stairs. While the stairs are a space-saver, they are not for the faint-of-heart, and could be a hazard to small children or people who have difficulty walking.
