Built originally in 1860 as a palace, the Hotel Londra Palace has a more modern feel. Light and airy with blue/gold/cream colors and glass globe doorknobs, all of the furniture is mostly original. The ground floor was renovated in 2008 with a green/gold/cream color scheme. By 2010 all rooms will be renovated. Heat and a/c is available year round. Junior suites offer step out terraces that overlook the Grand Canal. On the 5th floor the junior suite boasts original wood beams and is perfect for a family with a rollaway and crib. Room 502 (junior suite) offers a 2 person Jacuzzi hot tub! Perfect for a honeymoon couple, it also offers the exposed beams and an almost 360 degree view from the various windows.

This hotel is wheelchair friendly. There is a large outdoor terrace for dining and Biedermier furniture throughout the lobby. The hotel is perfect for the young couple or a family who wants something lighter and brighter. The Londra Palace is an excellent 4 star choice.
