The Mecenate Palace is located in the historical center, near the Coliseum overlooking the views of Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. I suggest that guests choose rooms with views of the piazza.

The panoramic rooftop terrace restaurant La Terrazza dei Papi also has nice views overlooking the city.

The palace consist of two buildings newly renovated apartments (still in progress). You would have to walk out of the hotel into a separate building a few steps away. Each apartment measures 500 sq ft. and very private courtyard facing each other featuring a contemporary style with very nice gardens. The apartments are provided with all the services: air conditioning, equipped with cooking range, sink, fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven, tea and coffee maker and Jacuzzi’s. This section is perfect for families very moderate for the client that wants to be in Rome but on a budget this is the place. It is walking distance to some good shopping and very close to historical sites and steps away from the train station.
