Q: May I redeem points before February 28, 2009?

A: Yes. Once you’ve accumulated enough points to redeem for cash or travel rewards, follow these easy steps:
  1. Visit http://www.classicvacations.com/travelagent/points.aspx.
     
  2. Download and complete the STAR redemption and W-9 forms to redeem your 2008 STAR points for cash and/or travel rewards. Enter the number of points you’d like to redeem for cash and/or travel rewards.
     
  3. Submit forms by fax to 408-882-8452 or by mail to Classic Vacations, Attn: Sales Support, 5893 Rue Ferrari, San Jose, CA 95138.
     
  4. You’ll receive a cash payment or travel reward letter by mail.
     
Q: Why do you need my W-9?

A: The Classic Vacations STAR Points Program is a reward. Rewards fall under taxable events, and Classic must report all taxable events to the IRS.

Q: May I select any hotel that Classic sells within its product lines?

A: Classic has identified specific hotels for the STAR Points Travel Rewards Program. Participation is limited to select hotels.

Q: May I see a list of the hotels that participate in the program?

A: Our hotel list changes based on availability of travel dates. An agent must submit a travel reward letter prior to obtaining hotel details.

Q: When I redeem my points, may I select cash and travel?

A: Yes. You may submit one STAR redemption form for both cash and travel rewards. Once points are redeemed, they are deducted from your accumulated balance.

Q: Whom do I contact for assistance with this program?

A: Send an email with your questions, and you can expect to receive a response within 24 hours.
