Earn Free Travel & Cash Rewards

It’s easy to earn free travel and cash rewards with the Classic Vacations STAR program. With every qualified booking* you earn points toward cash and/or travel to Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, or Europe. Simply Sell, Redeem, and Enjoy!

Sell

  • Book with Classic and your watch your STAR points accumulate. (STAR points are automatically calculated, so you don’t have to worry about it.)
  • Earn one point for every $100 dollars in sales on all qualified bookings.* Redeem your points for cash rewards starting with 200 points and for travel rewards with as little as 500 points. For a list of rewards see below
  • View your STAR points balance.
Redeem

Follow these steps to redeem 2008 STAR points:
  1. Download and complete the STAR redemption and W-9 forms to redeem your 2008 STAR points for cash and/or travel rewards. Enter the number of points you’d like to redeem for cash and/or travel rewards.
     
  2. Submit forms by fax to 408–882–8452 or by mail to Classic Vacations, Attn: Sales Support, 5893 Rue Ferrari, San Jose, CA 95138.
     
  3. You’ll receive a cash payment or travel reward letter by mail.
     
Program Guidelines:

  • Individual agent points may not be grouped or combined by agents within an agency or between two non-affiliated agencies.
  • All points and rewards are nontransferable. STAR points redeemed for travel may not be converted or exchanged for cash rewards.
  • The STAR redemption form must be signed by agent and agency manager/supervisor.
  • All STAR redemption and W-9 forms must be submitted to Classic by February 28, 2009.
  • Points that haven’t been redeemed by February 28, 2009 are forfeited.
  • Download Redemption form. Please allow six weeks for processing redemption form.


*Qualified Bookings:

  • Every Classic Hawaii, Classic America, Classic Caribbean, Classic Europe, Classic Mexico, Classic Tahiti, and Classic Australia & New Zealand booking with the Travel Smart Plan™ program or Classic Vacations Change & Cancellation Waiver purchased at the time of booking qualifies.
  • Bookings that travel between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 are eligible toward 2008 STAR points. Points are awarded upon departure.
  • Fly/drive (air and car only) bookings do not qualify for STAR points.
  • All bookings require the travel agent's first name and last name.

CASH REWARDS
Points Cash Reward    
Every 200 $100 Cash

  • Cash rewards are issued in 200-point increments.
  • Electronic Funds Transfer is the preferred method of payment for the STAR program as it is the fastest method of payment. If you prefer a paper check, please mark the “paper check” option on the STAR redemption form.
  • A cash reward an agent receives within any given year is reported on IRS Form 1099MISC if the total value of the cash reward(s) is greater than $600. A completed W-9 form is required in order to process your STAR redemption regardless of the value of the reward.
  • Please allow for 6 weeks to process cash rewards.

Nine-nights hotel accommodations, two business class air tickets (including 2 Intra-Europe Air segments or 2 Intra-Tahiti Air/Ferry segments), and hotel transfers.
 
Travel Reward Guidelines:
  • When you are ready to book your trip, complete the travel reward letter that is issued upon redemption of your STAR points. Fax the completed letter with your travel preferences to Classic Vacations Sales Support Department at 408–882–8452 or send by mail to Classic Vacations, Attn: Sales Support, 5893 Rue Ferrari, San Jose, CA 95138.
  • A Sales Support Representative will contact you to assist in booking your travel reward.
  • Hotel accommodations are booked at a 4- or 5-flower property of Classic’s choice for the requested destination.
  • Classic does not include all-inclusive properties in the program.
  • Please submit the travel reward letter 45-15 days prior to travel. Travel reward letters submitted within 15 days of travel cannot be fulfilled.
  • Travel rewards are valid one year from the issue date.
  • The completed travel reward letter must be sent to Classic Vacations Sales Support department prior to making any travel arrangements.
Travel Reward Restrictions:
  • Classic reserves the right to select all airline carriers for your travel reward.
  • Classic reserves the right to select hotels, car rentals, transfers, and airline carriers based on the requested dates.
  • All-inclusive hotels are not included in the 2008/09 travel program.
  • Travel during holiday and peak season blackout dates is not available. 2008 Black-Out Dates: February 15-20, March 15-30, May 23-27, July, August, September 1-9, November 21-30, and December 15-January 7. Blackout dates are subject to change and vary by destination.
  • Three nights maximum stay per hotel.
  • Travel rewards may not be sold or used for barter.
  • Travel rewards may not be combined for the same trip.
  • Travel rewards may not be exchanged or converted for cash rewards. Cancellations or non-acceptance of confirmed itinerary are subject to forfeiture of points used for redemption of the travel award.
