• Day 1: Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, meet our representative outside of the customs arrival hall holding a board with your name on it. They will assist with luggage and transfer you to your hotel in a private sedan. Ubud is approximately a 90 minute drive from the airport. Check into your hotel for 3 nights accommodations including daily breakfast. Overnight Ubud, Bali

• Day 2: Shared Rafting On Ayung River - Get back to nature on an exhilarating river rafting adventure with a backdrop of waterfalls and wild rainforest. The rafting company will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive to the start of the rafting adventure. Upon arrival you will be given the necessary equipment including helmet, lifejacket, paddles, and waterproof bags for your belongings. After a safety briefing from the instructors it s time to head to the river and climb into the raft. Over two hours the professional guide will take you along 11 kilometers of river with exciting level 2 and 3 rapids. During the rafting you will pass by stunning views of waterfalls and wild rainforest, while rare birds glide overhead. At the finish point there are showers where you can freshen up and change before enjoying a well deserved buffet lunch in the restaurant with a view. Return to your hotel. Overnight Ubud, Bali

• Day 3: Private Batukaru Temple and Jatiluwih Romantic Picnic - Visit a sacred temple in the rainforest, walk among the terraced rice paddies and enjoy a romantic picnic with unforgettable views. In the morning, the driver and tour guide will collect you from your hotel for the journey to Batukaru Temple. Located on the misty southern slopes of Mount Batukaru, Bali s second highest volcano, the peaceful temple is surrounded by lush rain forest. Due to its remote location it is rarely visited by tourists, yet is an architectural beauty featuring a multitude of shrines with tiered roofs. It is meant to protect Bali from evil spirits and is an extremely sacred site for the islands Hindu population. From here drive to the UNESCO listed rice terraces of Jatiluwih where stunning emerald-green rice fields cover the sides of the hills. Take a short trek of about 30 - 45 minutes through the rice terraces to your special picnic spot. While you walk your guide will tell you about the Subak irrigation system that has been preserved by the Balinese farmers for centuries. Sit down and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch while taking in the undisturbed views over the stunning landscape. Return to your hotel. Overnight Ubud, Bali.

• Day 4: After checking out of your hotel meet our representative in the lobby. They will transfer you from Ubud to Jimbaran Bay in a private car, the drive is approximately 60 minutes. Overnight Jimbaran Bay, Bali.

• Day 5: On the Blessing Trail Private Tour - Immerse yourself in the spiritual side of the island as you take part in some of the sacred rituals that are an important part of daily Balinese life. The first visit of the morning is to the 11th century Elephant Cave, also known as Goa Gajah. Built as a spiritual place for meditation you may even chance upon some of Bali s Hindus bathing in the sacred springs. After visiting the relic-filled courtyard, cave and pools, continue to the traditional Balinese village of Mas. Your host, Gusde, will take you on a tour to visit the compound of an important family and meet the local priest, or Brahman. Feel free to ask questions as you chat for a while over tea, coffee and Balinese cake. Then it is time for a private session with a local astrologer to experience a unique fortune telling using ancient methods. This is followed by a traditional Balinese blessing and purification ceremony conducted by the priest in the family temple. Return to your hotel. Overnight Jimbaran Bay, Bali.

• Day 6: Private Uluwatu Kecak Dance and Seafood Dinner on the beach - Experience an evening of Kecak dancing at a cliff top temple followed by a barbeque seafood dinner under the stars. In the late afternoon you will be taken to the location of the famous cliff hanging temple at Uluwatu. Perched on the edge of a steep cliff, the temple sits 70 meters above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple. Wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana. After the performance drive to one of the beautiful beaches in Jimbaran for a barbeque seafood dinner in a beach warung. Feast on a succulent seafood platter including prawns, grilled fish, squid and clams. Try some kangkung, also known as Indonesian water spinach, and add some heat in the form of sambal, the spicy Indonesian sauce. Return to your hotel. Overnight Jimbaran Bay, Bali.

• Day 7: Free Day to explore Bali or enjoy the beach. Overnight Jimbaran Bay, Bali.

• Day 8: After checking out of the Resort our representative will transfer via private sedan to the Ngurah Rai International Airport for your flight home.

• Day 2: Private Tanah Lot with Rice Field Picnic - Witness Tanah Lot without the crowds, visit a royal temple, and experience the life of a rural family. Usually visited during sunset, we will bring you to the stunning seaside Tanah Lot in the morning to enjoy this ancient temple without the crowds of tourists. Possibly the most famous and most photographed place in Bali, the temple sits majestically on a large offshore rock which has been shaped over the years by the crashing waves of the surrounding sea. After photographing the temple exterior and the unusual rock formations, drive to Taman Ayun temple, a royal temple from the Mengwi Empire. This multi layered temple is set in a beautiful park and surrounded by ponds. Our next stop is a short drive away, and is to the house of a Balinese family. Here you will be offered a warm welcome along with a refreshing coconut drink. Learn how the family make traditional daily offerings and try your hand at weaving a simple basket or making a traditional farmers hat. Take a stroll through the nearby rice field and enjoy a picnic lunch in a simple bale with views of a picturesque river and the surrounding rice paddies. Return to your hotel. • Day 3: After checking out of your hotel meet our representative in the lobby for your private car transfer to Ubud. Seminyak Beach is approximately 90 minutes to Ubud. Overnight Ubud, Bali.

• Day 4: Private Ubud Traditional Indonesian Cooking Class - Experience a hands on cooking class and whip up some delicious traditional Balinese dishes. The morning starts by meeting your host and the other guests joining the class. Together stroll around the colorful local market in Ubud where the locals bargain for the best produce. Browse the stalls piled high with colorful vegetables, tropical fruits, exotic spices and fragrant herbs. The host will explain the different produce on offer, how it is used in Indonesian cuisine, and will offer tips on selecting the best ingredients. Back at the cooking class, you will be shown how to recreate age old traditional dishes using curries, sambal and the freshest seasonal vegetables. The class is completely hands on so you will grind the different spices and learn how to use the various utensils. The class ends with a delicious lunch where you get to enjoy your own lavish homemade Balinese feast. Return to your hotel. Overnight Ubud, Bali.

• Day 5: Private Volcano Temple and Terraces - During this full day tour discover the culture, countryside and stunning scenery of Bali. Start the day with a performance of the famous Barong and Keris Dance. This traditional Balinese dance narrates the fight between good and evil and is a classic example of the Balinese way of blending myth and history into one reality. Drive to Tampak Siring to visit the unique temple of Gunung Kawi. Set at the bottom of a lush green river valley, these 11th century temples feature 10 rock cut shrines, called candi, carved into the cliff face. The awe inspiring shrines combine ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple attributes. Walk down the many stairs to the temple taking in the views of the terraced rice fields along the way. Continue to Kintamani set around the rim of the Gunung Batur crater. Look out over Bali s most active volcano, Mount Batur, which soars over 1,800 meters into the sky. In the center is a beautiful turquoise green lake, the largest lake of the island. After a late lunch in a local restaurant with beautiful views, drive back to the south with a stop in Tegalalang to see Bali s most iconic rice terraces. Return to your hotel. Overnight Ubud, Bali.

• Day 6: After checking out of your hotel meet our representative in the lobby for your private car transfer to Nusa Dua. Nusa Dua beach area is approximately 90 minutes from Ubud. Overnight Nusa Dua, Bali.

• Day 7: Private East Bali Highlights - Head east and discover rice terraces, sleepy villages, ancient temples and towering volcanos. In the morning meet your guide and driver and set off towards the east of the island. Stop in the quaint and very well kept countryside village of Penglipuran. Walk along the narrow streets to see the traditional Balinese houses with their typical entrance gates and unique architectural traditions. Continue to the western slopes of Mount Agung where Besakih, the Mother Temple is located. This stunning complex of temples is the most sacred in Bali and is visited at least once a year by all Balinese Hindus for special ceremonies. Lunch is taken in a local restaurant with views of rice fields and the backdrop of Mount Agung. After lunch take a walk through Sidemen, a rural area known for its beautiful landscapes and traditional weaving. Visit a fruit plantation to see the unusual salak fruit also called snake skin fruit. The last stop is at Klungkung to visit the former Royal Courts of Justice known as Kerta Gosa. The highlight here is the unique and elaborately decorated ceiling painting depicting the battle of good versus evil. Return to hotel. Overnight Nusa Dua, Bali
