The all-suite Fairmont Kea Lani rests on Polo Beach, a 600-foot stretch of soft, white sand. Located on Maui's southern coastline in pristine Wailea, Maui, the beach is enclosed with lava rock on both ends, creating a secluded and private setting. Perfect for keiki (kids), Polo Beach has a sandy bottom with clear, approachable water. As part of the resort's award-winning Hawaiian Cultural program, guests can learn how to paddle a traditional 6-person Hawaiian outrigger canoe, directly from Polo Beach. Snorkel gear, stand up paddle boards, ocean kayaks and boogie boards are also available to get a glimpse of the tropical fish and Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles swimming offshore. In winter months, Polo Beach is a prime spot to see 40-ton humpback whales breaching, tail slapping and peduncle throwing, right off the coast. For a day of sun, beach activities and chaise lounges, Polo Beach is Maui's premiere spot for island visitors.
