NOW Sapphire Riviera Cancun
Arrayed at one end of the resort, the 14 lodging buildings are connected by a broad, looping path that's perfect for jogging in the morning and starlit strolling at night.
In addition to a vast white-sand beach fronting the resort and furnished with thatched-roof palapas, the resort offers two pools surrounded by decks with lounge chairs and palapas. The main pool is freeform and contains spa tub sections. A round wedding chapel is built over the pool. The deck terraces down to the beach with nooks and crannies amidst the gardens for semi-privacy. Nearby is a large "quiet pool" for more tranquil sunning or reading. Children have their own pool adjacent to a children's club activity center.
