Property Amenities

The Intercontinental Tahiti Resort & Spa enjoys a prime location on Tahiti’s west coast. Grounds include a private beach and a lagoon that face the Island of Moorea, across the Sea of Moons. The resort offers two freshwater pools, as well as equipment rentals for diving, boating, and other beach activities. Guests can also sign up for basket weaving, pareu demonstration and painting, or Tahitian quilt-sewing classes. In the evenings, performances of Polynesian dance and music are featured at Tiare Restaurant. Wednesday night’s show features a powerful Marquesan dance group. The Hei Tahiti dance group performs on Friday evenings.

Tiare Restaurant
This outdoor amphitheatre-shaped restaurant has three levels with lagoon views. Tahitian dance shows are performed in the evenings, at the water's edge. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Le Lotus Restaurant
This over-water restaurant offers lunch, dinner à la carte, and drinks at a swim-up bar.
Tiki Bar
The main Tiki Bar, located next to the Tiare Restaurant, is open from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm. The Lobby Bar serves drinks and light snacks 24/7 and is great for guests arriving early or departing late. It was renovated in 2015 and has beautiful views of Moorea. Le Lotus swim-up bar, in the sand-bottomed pool, serves exotic drinks from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.


The hotel offers equipment-rental for various water/beach activities. Boating options include pedal boats, motorized canoes, reef pontoons, coral viewing by glass-bottom boat, dolphin cruises via catamaran, sunset cruises, lunch and snorkeling excursions, and yacht charters for deep sea fishing. Land activities include badminton, ping pong, and tennis (there are two lighted courts). Basket weaving, pareu demonstration and painting, and Tahitian quilt sewing classes are also offered. An 18-hole championship golf course is approximately (30 minutes) from the hotel.

Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm is a 3200-square-foot facility with a fitness room, tea lounge, rain shower, steam bath and plunge pool. Guests can enjoy a free snorkeling experience among thousands of reef fish in the Lagoonarium. The public market, Le Marché, is a short ride downtown on Le Truck.
