Traveler Reviews

Bumpy start but quickly turned into a great tour. Quentin was informative and the bus driver patient. We saw amazing pieces of history in small distances and had plenty of free time to forage about.

The first stop was literally in a cow pasture where There were three runes which Nadia used to begin our education on Viking culture. Each stop was enlightening and while Sagtuna was great for its history and quaintness Uppsala was wonderful for its cathedral and mounds. Very enjoyable.

Our guide Tobias was very informed and made the trip a pleasure. Amazing rune stones and he provided all the information on what they meant! The Uppsalla and Sigtuna areas were very interesting and played key roles in Sweden's development - the Cathedral was magnificent as were the ruins of the old church in Sigtuna. A trip well worth taking

We had a great time exploring Viking past outside Stockholm. Got to see countryside and learn about Viking past. Guide was fantastic. Would be great for families or individuals.

I really enjoyed this tour! Very interesting and informative. Angus, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable about the Viking history and he's also cool and witty! For me, Angus is the best tour guide I've met so far! Jonathan, who assisted Angus in the beginning of the tour is also good and cool! Special thanks also so Anna-Cari who was our tour guide in the Viking Village. And of course, I will not forget the most famous among them all -- Agnes the Viking Dog! :

If you like history and you are interested about the Vikings, I really recommend this tour!
