Traveler Reviews

For advance booking - Why the available date starting from Mar 26, 2020 ? We want to join the day tour on Jan 28, 2020. Is it possible ?

This was a very emotional day and brings home to you the great loss of young men during WWI. We had a very knowledgeable guide. Ieper is delightful and the ceremony at Menin Gate with a visiting UK Guards band was a highlight. Take cash for drinks as the place we were taken for lunch wouldn't accept credit cards. A long day but one I will never forget!!

The long bus ride was made better by our tour guide who constantly gave us history lessons of what we would see. He was very knowledgeable. Wish I could remember his name because he deserves cudos. Needed more time in the WWI museum in Ypres. The Last Post Ceremony was humbling. So glad we were able to see it. Noon meal was just what we needed. Not too much. not too little. Thanks

Let’s get the negative out of the way first - Pre booked this tour through Expedia from the Uk and was advised to meet at pick up location 15 mins prior to departure. The day was cold and wet and we were left hanging around with no real information of who to look out for. Ended up having to phone Expedia as no one around 20 mins past official departure. They were able to connect me to the tour company who apologized and said that the bus was coming from Brussels and were caught up in traffic. It would have been nice if they contacted us first especially as they had my contact details. Now for the actual tour. Our guide, Stefan was absolutely superb. His knowledge, enthusiasm and passion was second to none. I learnt so much, it was like having a fantastic history lesson from your favorite teacher. There are so many things to see and I felt that our tour got the right balance on sites to see which included the German Military Cemetery, Dodengang (Trenches of Death), Flanders Fields Mus
