Overview
Start your tour after meeting your guide at the predetermined location. Make your way through a small village of replica stick huts similar to those used two centuries ago by local villagers. The gardens around offer close-up views of the more popular local flora. The professional guide will then lead you through the medicinal herbal garden where you will learn about nature's own healing remedies. The grandeur of the Monplaisir family's estate house will be next on the list. Take plenty of photos before the next demonstration. For the next activity, the guide will explain the process of dehusking a coconut to you. Learn how to dry the copra in your oven before enjoying a taste of coconut water and jelly. After enjoying the bay view from the point, you will have the opportunity to taste a ripe cocoa bean at the cocoa and coffee house. Watch the process of fermentation, bean drying, and the cocoa dance used to polish the dried beans. End the tour after visiting the mule driven sugar cane mill with a tasting of fresh cane juice.

Traveler Reviews
We arrived by car and were assigned Jonathan as our guide. Although he was young and we were his second couple to take around the place. He was very knowledgeable, answered our questions with ease.
Lovely gardens to walk through.
They had a set of replica buildings, a cocoa bean process demonstration, as well as highlighting different uses of the coconut.
The piece de resistance was then being given the chance of tasting about 12 different rums and chocolate.
If there is something you particularly like you can purchase it in the gift shop on site.
Great experience.

Visitors get the opportunity to see a working mill, houses, and rum making at this estate with buildings and dwellings. Locals hull and split coconuts for samples of the coconut milk and meat.
We had a tasteless, unappetizing Caribbean lunch at the estate dining room.

Amazing tour, full of historical information, freshest coconut, best lunch ever. The guides demonstrate how cocoa was ground by foot and how Noel the donkey ground sugar. Would come again.

Natasha was a great tour guide. She took a lot of time to explain all of the parts of the plantation and made sure we got lots of samples of cocoa beans and coconut. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Natasha was a helpful and informative guide around the plantation. The coconut candy was delicious! The creole lunch was yummy.
