I booked this trip and they told me at the last minute it was cancelled because not enough people booked. Which gave me no time to book with another company. They offered another trip which I took. It was not that interesting for me. We also got back two hours late due to one of the passengers getting lost for an hour. Overall it was impersonal and fairly interesting.

WOW I loved this tour it was a clear sunny day and we had perfect sighting of the volcano. The tour guide was phenomenal he went far and beyond to please his guests. I enjoyed the ruins and the lunch as orasi valley the view was incredible. I couldn’t stop being in awe. If anyone wants a full day trip this is worth buying. The experience was unforgettable and photos of the volcano are breathtaking.

I am sure that there are sections of the Sarapiqui crawling with wildlife, but this particular section is not it. This section of the river meanders through a fully developed part of the country. While the river itself was lined with some trees, beyond the trees were farms, homes, towns, and roads. Wildlife was scarce and the long trip not worth what we did manage to see.
