Traveler Reviews

I highly recommend Michael and his wonderful tour of the Fraser Valley wine region! My partner and I chose to book this tour after doing extensive research on several different Vancouver area winery tour options. We chose this tour for two main reasons: 1) Unlike some of the other wine tasting tours we researched, there was no minimum number of guests required for the tour to operate. Our tour had just one other group of 3 people, and the small group experience was absolutely preferable to my partner and I--we are not the large party bus types. 2) This was the only tour we found that included a meadery. We love mead, and wanted this more unusual experience which can’t be found just anywhere. Michael himself was a wonderful tour guide. He picked us up right in front of our hotel, and peppered our bus ride with multiple interesting facts about the Vancouver area and Fraser Valley wine region. It quickly became clear that Michael has personal relationships with the owners of each of the

What a great tour that was not only informative, beautiful in the sights we saw before and after but of course delicious in the samples we sipped!
Michael (the one man band; owner and operator) made the tour easygoing regaling our group with his background as well as the area info.
The Fraser Valley is teeming with multitudes of vineyards as well as other fruits. He is thoughtful in thinking about our needs and brought along snack bags for us all to soak up the samples (before lunch).
Lunch was unique and tasty as it was a restaurant within a bookstore in Fort Langley! We had a bit of shop time afterwards in F L before our drive back to Vancouver.
It’s a tour not to be missed and of the five we visited, there are plenty more to enjoy.

Michael is a knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed our tour. Snack packs were a nice touch - but also a necessity when lunch comes at the end of all the tastings. Our fault for not reading the description as closely as we should have before booking, but we were shocked to find that the tasting fees were not included for the price that we paid. Also a little dismayed to find another couple on the trip benefitting by not having to pay a tasting fee because of the wine I purchased - while members in our party still were charged.

Great tour. The guide was entertainment and had a lot of good information. He took us to five wineries and we sampled a lot of wine. He took us to small boutique wineries that had different wine. We ended up being two bottles of blueberry mead wine and walnut port. We can’t wait to have our Christmas guest try them.
