Marty was an amazing guide and took us to some great locations: vista lookouts, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. He did a great job explaining details and history for each area we passed and the history of Hana. He knew all the good areas to take photos and guided us. He took great care in providing us an excellent experience. Marty had deep knowledge of all the locations we visited and kept us engaged in conversations during the long trip. In addition to the tour, he also showed us some interesting areas we could explore the next time we visited the area. My family had a lot of fun on this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with the area. It’s great to be able to enjoy the views on the road to Hana without having to drive. Marty was a great guide and made the experience very memorable and entertaining.

Marty was a great guide. He knew all the right places to stop for pictures of the waterfalls, was right there with an umbrella when a quick rainstorm came by, and navigated the twisty road to Hana like a pro! What a great trip! Would use this tour company again!

Amy us our super nice guide! Best guide ever. Only 6 people on the car, very nice and comfortable. Hotel pick up is very easy, recommend for anyone who don’t plan to rent a car.

Our family agreed that this trip was one of the best, if not the best, tours that our family took during our Maui stay. We saw so much of the beautiful and natural parts of Maui, including the black beach and the abundant waterfalls. Our tour guide, Gayle Shufeldt, was awesome and extremely informative, providing so much information about the plant life, history, and customs of Maui. She also told us the best and often overlooked places to explore while making sure that we did not explore private grounds. The food was great too. This adventure was amazing!

We had a great time on this tour. The communication and reservation process was very reliable. There were no hidden fees. They responded to our questions on e-mail promptly. They were punctual and picked us up on time and brought us back on time. The van was very comfortable and modern. Marty was our guide and driver. We felt very safe in his car as The Road to Hana is a challenging drive and he made us all feel completely safe. He was very polite, attentive, caring, pleasant and professional and made the experience very pleasant. He went above and beyond to cover all sights, information and even taught us additional items we were not expecting. My wife and I had a great time and highly recommend the company and especially Marty. You will have a blast.
