We all had a fabulous time. The ride was a little snug but so much information was shared and our guide Giovanni was the BEST EVER!! This guy has so much knowledge and took us to the best spots. We all had the most wonderful time and learned quite a but. Also, the views were just fabulous. I highly recommend this.

Taxco and Cuernavaca Private Tour from Mexico City with Amigo Tours (contact Esdras Tellez) Fri, Aug 27, 2021 • 8:00 AM • 2 Adults I paid $314.00 USD This is a 12 hour tour with Amigo Tours. We book private tours during the pandemic to reduce our risk of contracting Covid. This tour company sent a tiny 4-seat passenger car with a non-English speaking driver and a tour guide, effectively cramming 4 people into a very tight space for 12 hours. This is not an ideal situation for social distancing. In all the private tours I’ve booked in Mexico and Costa Rica during the pandemic, the tour company always offered a large vehicle, an SUV, such as a Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, or a minivan. I asked the driver to bring an SUV or a minivan to which he responded none are available. I then asked to cancel the tour. I was not refunded any money. Do NOT use Amigo Tours as they are unprofessional, increase your risk of contracting COVID by using tiny cramped vehicles loaded with two of their emp

Unfortunately, I cannot give a positive opinion.

The guide did not have time for us. Simply put: he was surprised that we want to have one hour of time for ourselves to eat dinner.

Moreover: The guide was out of date. We made an appointment (after lunch) at 2:30 pm and he was 10 minutes late.

In the end, I cannot recommend this travel agency highly enough as we were lied to in the tour description. In the description we were assured that the Taxco cathedral was open but it was closed. We feel cheated.
