I was interested in a private hike and Maria did an excellent job communicating after hours to make it happen. She really is the person we all hope to help us out when trying to see a new area: friendly, great communication, and excellent trips. I was the first tourist on Luis’ dry forest hike just south of Playa Carrillo. Luis is a top notch guy and his passion for his country really shows as he guides you on roughly two miles of trail sighting for birds, animals, and flora in the local area. Luis has a HD spotting scope that he will set up to allow you to get a close up of the animals. He’s very skilled at taking photos of the animals with your phone through the lense of the scope so you can leave with some really nice pictures. My hike started around 0600 and ended at 0900 just in time to escape the heat of the day. Muchas gracias amigos!
