Such luxury to be collected from our hotel by Gary in a comfortable modern vehicle to be driven from vineyard to vineyard through the magnificent countryside of Central Otago - and Gary knew the history of wine growing in this area, and the details of each vineyard and its wines, our perfect host, companion and guide for the day.
Gary’s personable style, with friendly introductions to each cellar door manager and brilliant driving, helped make our day perfect.

We wanted to be looked after, learn about the region and travel in comfort/no fuss and they (Gary) delivered in spades. We would recommend them (and Gary in particular) to anyone who’d like to experience a slice of this part of NZ in an authentic and comfortable way.

Such a great tour! Gary knows everything there is to know about wine and we had a blast. We had three coeliacs and they were very accommodating- lunch was divine!

What a treat to spend my 40th birthday sipping some of the most amazing wines in Central Otago. We asked to be taken to wineries that had 'different' wines and we were not disappointed. We can't thank Garry enough for arranging our bespoke winery selection and accommodating our pre-booked lunch reservation. What a lovely human, knowledgeable and passionate about wine but also generous with this time. An all round fabulous day - thank you Garry and thank you Appellation Wine Tours.
