Marco and his crew were so helpful and patient. Everyone in our group of first time surfers was able to get up. The waves were big and intimidating, but they were super focused on safety and made everyone comfortable and confident. We had a diverse group from 12 years old to 45. 100% pura vida, do yourself a favor and do this trip???????????.

My husband and I had the best experience learning to surf from Marcos, during our first ever lesson. From start to finish this tour exceeded expectations from Rolando picking us up from our hotel, providing us with beverages, waiting for us during the lesson and driving us to a delicious lunch we had the best day ever. Our driver was so courteous and kind. Marcos was very patient and so calming and encouraging during the lesson, giving us the safety and technical tips we needed to ride the waves! Such a blast, we highly recommend this surf tour. An experience we will never forget!

Marco & Jost were awesome instructors. We both took the 2 hours lesson, together with our 2 kids 7 & 10. It was our first time surfing ever, we surfed Playa Grande and we were all standing up by the end of it! We had a great experience. Would 100% recommend You Are Costa Rica!

What a great experience surfing fir the first time with Marcos! He was so patient and helpful and we actually all were able to surf- which we weren’t sure we could do! We felt safe and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing private surfing g lesson for beginners. I will book with Marcos again when we return!

YouAreCostaRica absolutely made my trip. After spending eight days surfing with Marcos and his incredible team, I really understood surfing more and was able to see my own progression! Having been to Costa Rica several times, I can assure you this is the best experience one could ask for. I cannot speak higher of Marcos and recommend this experience to absolutely everyone.
