Traveler Reviews

Mario was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was friendly and informative. Awesome excursion and experience.

We loved this tour! Saw Spider and Howler Monkeys, Iguanas and Turkeys. The guide was great, we learned a lot and enjoyed his hospitality.

The guides from Viator were very knowledgeable and readily shared their knowledge of the area. I did expect to cover more ground during the tour. It was pretty slow walking and would have been nice if it included going to the top of the volcano. The guide was excellent and pointed our howler monkeys and spider monkeys in the tree tops. The howler monkeys make an impressive sound. We also got to see a bird mating dance which was quite interesting and apparently not often seen. How the forest operated and the roles of the many types of trees were discussed. Overall it was very informative and enjoyable.
