Cape Town, dramatically located above the Atlantic Ocean, flanked by the majestic Table Mountain. Xigera Safari Lodge (pronounced ‘kee-jera’) is located in the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve showcasing some of the best parts of Botswana’s UNESCO World Heritage site. The story of Xigera Safari Lodge, named for the Pied Kingfisher that makes its home amid the watery channels of Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve, features only 12 spacious suites and one two-bedroom family suite. Built with sustainability in mind, the lodge is completely solar powered.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival
Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will have the remainder of the day at leisure.
Four (4) nights’ accommodations at 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa in a Luxury Room. Meals included: None
Day 2
Cape Town
We suggest taking the Full Day Cape Point Tour highlighting the Houte Bay, the Fish Market at mariners Wharf, Capmans Peak Drive, The Cape of Good Hope and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. This cost is additional.
Overnight at 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa. Meals included: Breakfast.
Day 3
Cape Town
We suggest the City & Robben Island Tour. Explore Cape Town on your private full-day city tour including visits to Table Mountain and Robben Island. This cost is additional.
Overnight at 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa. Meals included: Breakfast.
Day 4
Cape Town
We suggest a Cape Winelands tour to Stellenbosch today. This cost is additional.
Overnight at 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa. Meals included: Breakfast.
Day 5
Cape Town-Botswana
Today, you will be transferred to the Cape Town Airport for your flight to Maun, cost not included. Upon arrival at the Maun airport, a representative from Xigera Safari Lodge will greet you and transfer you to the Lodge for check in. The remainder of your day is at leisure. You may wish to enjoy the afternoon game drive or just relax and settle in before dinner.
Four (4) nights at Xigera Safari Lodge in a Suite including all meals, park fees, taxes, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages with the exception of premium brands and daily laundry service.
All activities, including game drives, boating, seasonal catch-and-release fishing, mekoro excursions, walking, use of the gym, pool and library, and in-suite Wi-Fi. Meals included: Dinner.
Day 6
Okavango Delta
Participate in any of the lodge game drives or walking safaris. A typical day on safari may look similar to the below:
- 05:30 - Wakeup call
- 06:00 - Morning game activity
- 09:00 - Return from game activity and enjoy breakfast
- 11:00 - Possible mid-morning game activity closer to the lodge or spa treatment (if available)
- 13:00 - Lunch
- 16:00 - Afternoon tea on camp deck followed by afternoon game activity and sundowners in the bush
- 19:00 - Return from the afternoon activity and either freshen up first or head straight to dinner.

Day 7
Okavango Delta
Participate in any of the lodge game drives or walking safaris.
Overnight at Xigera Safari Lodge. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 8

Participate in any of the lodge game drives or walking safaris.
Overnight at Xigera Safari Lodge. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 9
Departure
Possible opportunity for one last morning game drive before transferring to the Maun airport for your onwards flight.
