St. George Lycabettus - Lifestyle Hotel
St. George Lycabettus - Lifestyle Hotel
Just a five-minute walk from the hotel, a funicular runs up to the summit of Lycabettus Hill, crowned by the tiny whitewashed church of St George. The highest vantage point in town, it affords panoramic views. Close by, an open-air theater hosts summer concerts.
The interior was remodeled in 2001, bringing in modern furnishing and hi-tech facilities. Le Grand Balcon offers refined dining and romantic nighttime views, while the trendy Frame bar-restaurant serves up informal meals. Guests can shop at the Afternoon Boutique, stocking clothes and accessories by contemporary Greek designers. In summer, guests can relax at the rooftop pool, set off against the rugged, pine-scented slopes of Lycabettus Hill. The newly-opened 'Sensia' Spa centre offers guests a range of treatments such as a hot tub with underwater lighting for chromatotherapy, and face and body treatments using products by Kenzo.
