Brilliant experience from first contact through email to the half day 1pm-6pm tour itself. Syrus, our initial contact, ended up being our tour guide as well and he was amazing: helpful, knowledgeable and on the day was friendly, informative, a great photographer and thoughtful - for instance, he kept an easy walking pace for my parents who are in their sixties. With a toddler and 3 adults, it was only a few extra dollars to book a private tour and I'm so glad we did. It was great to pick and choose the tourist spots to go to without the confines of a set-in-stone itinerary and though the plan was to see two waterfalls and two beaches, this turned out to be a bit over-ambitious on my part! Syrus was really flexible on the day though and happy to go at a much more leisurely pace and we ended up going to Kite Kite falls and the black sand beach. I cannot stress how integral this tour is to any adventurer wishing to discover all Auckland has to offer. I think the best part of this tour is just how professional and committed the guides are at making the trip not just a tour, but an adventure! My partner and I were so glad we booked with these guys and have plans to do the city lights tour next before our time here is up. The Waitakere ranges that were displayed on the Wicked West Tour absolutely blew me away, I had no idea that Auckland has its very own rain forrest at its finger tips filled with wildlife and lush Forrest as far as the eye can see. The team were efficient with their time making the stops that counted and sharing their knowledge, keeping us engaged with the history of such a beautiful place. The beautifully designed tour’s quality is only rivalled by the amazing team that runs it. I can’t wait for our next Tourbro adventure I’ll see y’all soon!
