ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productPass By: Cades Bay, Cades Bay, Saint Mary Parish, Antigua, Antigua and BarbudaHome of the Black Pineapple, the sweetest pineapple in the worldIt was not until the late 1960’s that the Ministry of Agriculture diversified the operations from small farms to a government-owned Agricultural Station. In 1983, a production and management plan was formulated. It was during this period that Cades Bay was at its peak, with 20 acres of crop under production. Our ‘Antiguan Black Pineapples’ can be taken with you at the end of your holidays.Pass By: Fig Tree Drive, Central Antigua AntiguaFig Tree drive is the best drive in Antigua! Fig is basically the Antiguan name for bananas, but the road is lined with lots of tropical fruit trees such as guavas, mangoes, oranges, and coconuts. Fig Tree Drive in Antigua is the major road opposite the pink coral Catholic Church just outside the town of Liberta, north of Falmouth. An Amazing view!

Traveler Reviews

Brilliant, brilliant day. Picked up from our hotel on time by lovely informative Travis. He gave us lots of interesting information enroute to Cades bay and showed us other beaches too. The socoho estate is very pristine and leads down to the mangroves. We kayaker through the mangroves and came out on a beautiful beach where our dive instructor was awaiting us with the boat. We kayaked for an hour over the reef seeing stingrays, puffa fish, trumpet fish everything you could imagine it was amazing. Coming back to shore We saw turtles and had a picnic on the beach before walking up to the viewpoint and kayaking back. Best trip of our holidays and lovely to have smaller parties. Definitely recommend.

We kayaked through the mangroves followed by the reef snorkelling with Andrew and captain James. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. The kayaking was about 15 minutes each way which was plenty for me. Captain James was incredibly knowledgeable about the reef and knew all the spots to find octopus. After an hour's snorkelling, we had a delicious lunch pulled up on the beach. A magical spot and a magical tour. Thank you

Kayaking through mangroves is quite surreal and a little Harry Potter. Lovely. The trip on to the reef was also lovely and we saw octopi in a very peaceful setting. Think the leaders could have given us a little more background on what we were seeing and made the snorkling expedition a little more inspiring. Still, a very nice company on Cades beach and a beautiful setting. Think they will go from strength to strength

We had a wonderful time on this tour and it was possibly the highlight of our trip. Candier from South Coast Horizons was extremely helpful when we wanted to switch to the half day tour and when we wanted to add lunch on. We were picked up in the jeep which was an experience in itself (thank you to the driver who stopped to retrieve my hat when it flew off my head) and took us on roads we hadn't been able to experience in the taxis, including to the rainforest and Fig Tree Drive. He was also very accommodating on the return trip when we asked to stop to buy black pineapple (high recommended- very delicious). The kayaking part of the tour is short but a very different experience to anything else we had on the island. We saw lots of fiddler crabs on the way down. We then took a trip out with a guide (I believe named James) to the reef. We were on our own as there were no others doing the snorkeling part of the tour and he was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. We saw lot

The tour was great from start to finish. The ride across the island was very enjoyable. The driver "Flavor" was very informative. He narrated the entire drive, giving us info about the geography and culture of the island. The kayaking was great and we snorkled at an amazing reef. All of the guides are great! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Antigua outside of the "resort".
