Shout out to the fine folks at Epic Air Kauai for getting us in for a last minute open door flight over Kauai. My family and I (3) traveled to Kauai early Dec with intent of hiking ever day, mother nature put a kibosh on that with heavy rains closing most trials. I called Epic Air to try and schedule a flight (yes weather was making it questionable) The staff was wonderful, initially I committed to 5 seats so I could meet the minimum. Epic Air was able to find an additional 3 folks and I was refunded my two empty seat purchases. With 6 folks total had a full bird, again open door which is the way to go. While a bit overcast in some areas this was an amazing experience, this is the way to see Kauai. Our pilot did a great job on filling us in on history, natural geographic features and point outs of some great spots to check out. I had the rear right seat (behind pilot) and this was great, again I spent most of the time with a big grin, saying yep this beats hiking. Thanks again Epic A

Was a can’t miss experience. Saw so much of the island. The doors off really made the experience. Saw dolphins and a whale. Pilot was very knowledgeable.

I booked this experience with my mom on our first trip to Kauai and it was incredible. Our pilot Kirby was awesome and very knowledgeable about the island. I felt safe throughout the flight. The views were absolutely amazing and would do this again!
