Well worth the long trip. There views from the top are spectacular and enough of the ruins are preserved to make it a worthwhile trip. Our guide, Dimitra, had a wealth of information. However she delivered it in a bit of a monotone and wasnt very receptive to questions. Overall, I would recommend this trip

Delphi itself is magnificent, but I got the CHAT Tours operator , they could have done better. the stop in the souvenier shops is longer than the time spent in archeological site. we also did a.stop for few minutes on the way to delphi which they could have shortened a little bit.

Having the sun peek out of the fog around Mt. Parnassus just as we were reaching the Sybil's Stone was magical and the weather kept mugging for beautiful shots the rest of the day, which made an already exhilarating day better still.

Delphi, is magnificent and I recommend the tour, just be prepared for a very long ride on the bus (close to 3 hours each way). The tour guide although very knowledgeable was also rather condescending. She entered the bus and didn’t say anything to anyone while we sat and waited with no explanation as to why. Not even a Good morning. The bus driver was very skillful and safe.
