It was perfect. Relaxing ride, beautiful weather and some great info given by our guide josh. Took a private tour and was very pleased.

Captain Jimmy was a great host for our private airboat tour. We learned so much and appreciated his depth of knowledge of the Everglades. He pointed out gators, birds, and turtles that inhabit this special place. The boat ride was amazing and a lot of fun. Our tour was the first of the day, and even though the seats had been wiped down prior to the tour, our boat's vinyl seats were cracked and halfway through the tour my shorts were quite damp from seeping water; we were on the "Copperhead" boat. Really uncomfortable (got paper towels from the reception desk later that I stuffed in my shorts to dry them out).

Definitely a unique experience, fun for the entire family. We selected the private tour due to COVID concerns. Josh was our tour guide: he was knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions we had. We saw turtles, one alligator and many birds. The boat is very noisy: thankfully they give you earplugs. The exhibits available after the boat tour and included in the package are not great: few animals in small cages. However, every now and then they take a baby alligator out and allow you to see it close and personal. You can even touch it. That part is great. Tons of people arriving for the group tours. it is a popular tour. And although the vegetation is not attractive, the experience is overall great. One area of improvement: when we boarded the boat seats were wet. It would only take 1 minute to dry them out and it would go a long way towards customer satisfaction.

Well we bought the 2 hour tour. I were back within 70 minutes. A 60 minute tour is a lot less than a 2 hour tour. Save yourself some $$ and only book a 60 minute tour because you won't get the full 2 hours. A refund is due.
